Location. The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach (Calif.) is located on 26 beautifully manicured acres, and is adjacent to Newport Dunes Aquatic Park and Palisades Tennis Club. The town of Newport Beach awaits just one mile away. Complimentary shuttle services to and from John Wayne Orange County Airport, positioned five miles from the hotel, are offered by the hotel. The Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve, a short walk from the Hyatt, is one of Southern California's few remaining coastal wetlands. Visitors can jog or cycle along designated trails, or join a guided tour.
Hotel Features. Warm, Mission style architecture is graces the terra cotta tiled lobby with its magnificent stone fireplace. This property is bordered by a nine hole, par three executive golf course. Other on site activities include three landscaped outdoor pools, spas, shuffleboard, volleyball, table tennis, an adjacent tennis club and rental bikes. On site, the Gaylee Signature Spa features massage therapies, facials, body treatments, custom make up applications and seminars. The Sandbar Lounge offers outdoor seating, billiards, a fire pit and happy hour specials. The Lobby Lounge serves signature cocktails from behind its spectacular wooden bar.
